Two bugs start together at $(1, 0)$ and crawl counterclockwise around the unit circle: at time $t$ the first is at $P(t)$ and the second at $P(3t)$. During the time interval $0 \le t < 2\pi$, for how much total time are the bugs more than $\sqrt3$ units apart?
