Line Plots · Challenge problem

A line plot has X's above the numbers $1, 2, 3, 4$ and $5$. If every X is slid one step to the right, the total of all the values goes up by $12$. If instead only the X's above $5$ are erased, the total goes down by $15$. How many X's are above the numbers $1$ through $4$?
