Partial Derivatives & the Gradient · Hard problem

Near most points, the equation x2+y2−z2=5x^{2}+y^{2}-z^{2}=5 defines zz as a smooth function of xx and yy — except where ∂F∂z=0\dfrac{\partial F}{\partial z}=0 (so the Implicit Function Theorem's hypothesis fails), where F=x2+y2−z2−5F=x^2+y^2-z^2-5. At such a point, find x2+y2x^{2}+y^{2}.
