A thermostat is comfortable within $3^\circ$F of $68^\circ$F; readings more than $3^\circ$F away are "outside the comfortable range." Five readings were taken: $71^\circ$, $63^\circ$, $70^\circ$, $65^\circ$ and $72^\circ$. How many of these readings were outside the comfortable range?
