Four students guess that the temperature is $-2^\circ$C. Their actual guesses are $5^\circ$, $-9^\circ$, $1^\circ$ and $-6^\circ$. A guess's error is its distance from $-2^\circ$. Find the difference between the largest error and the smallest error.
