A $z$ test of $H_0: \mu = \mu_0$ against $H_a: \mu \ne \mu_0$ at the $5\%$ level gives $z = 1.2$. The critical value is $1.96$ (use $\pm$ for the two tails). Should $H_0$ be rejected? Answer reject or fail to reject.
